CO2 as a solvent

CO2 supercritical extraction equipment uses CO2 as a solvent. The density and dielectric constant of CO2 fluid in the supercritical state are large, and the solubility of CO2 is large, and it changes sharply with changes in pressure and temperature. Therefore, not only the solubility of certain substances is selective, but the solvent and the extract are also easily separated.

Electronic control system

The electrical design complies with China’s national electrical design and installation standards. Controllers, heating devices, motors and other electrical execution equipment adopt domestically-made equipment, which meets the relevant requirements of national standards.

Security system

The outlet of the CO2 pump is equipped with an electrode point pressure gauge. The pressure can be set within the rated working pressure range. When the pressure rises to the pressure set by the electrode point pressure gauge, the pump stops working. After the pressure drops, the pump works automatically. When the pressure exceeds the pressure set by the overflow valve, the overflow valve opens the overflow to reduce the pressure and achieve pressure protection.

Pressure control, temperature control and flow display

The pressure of each kettle is adjusted by the corresponding valve. Use extraction kettle, separation kettle and precision pressure gauge with an accuracy of 0.4 for display. The temperature control system adopts PID adjustment, with first-class temperature control accuracy. The extraction kettle and the separation kettle adopt one control, one measurement and double readings, which can effectively solve the common “thermal inertia”.

Pipes and brackets

Valves and pipe fittings have DW18 and DW14 interfaces. The containers, valves, pipe fittings and pipes in contact with fluid are all made of 304 material. The equipment bracket is made of stainless steel.

Supercritical CO2 extraction

CO2 is used as a solvent in supercritical CO2 extraction equipment. CO2 is not only cheap, high purity, easy to produce, but also can be reused in production, thereby effectively reducing costs. In addition, there is no chemical reaction in the whole extraction process, and CO2 is a non-flammable gas, odorless, non-toxic and safe. The quality is very good. SFE is a clean extraction method. Since the whole extraction process does not use organic solvents, there is no residual solvent in the extract, which avoids the existence of harmful substances and environmental pollution during the extraction process, and ensures 100% pure naturalness.
